Default Impact/kill screenshots thread

I realise there is already a thread for screenshots but i thought one dedicated to kill shots would be a good idea.

I'll copy and paste the rules laid out by Gizzmoe in the official general screenies thread:

Maximum image size 1024x768, JPG format only.

Resizing images

If you need to resize a screenshot because it´s larger than 1024x786 you can use Irfanview, it´s free:
http://www.irfanview.com/

Open the image with Irfanview, go to Image -> Resize/Resample, under Size method select Resample, then type in the new size in Set new size, after that click Ok.

To save it go to File -> Save as, set Save as type to JPG, tick Show Options dialog and set Save quality to 85. Then save the image.

Alternative method

If you already have a JPG, Imageshack can resize it for you. On Imageshack.us click resize image? and select 1024x768, then upload the image.

Uploading images

Images can be uploaded to Imageshack:
http://imageshack.us/

Once uploaded you´ll see several links that you can copy. Take the one named "Direct link to image", mark the link and copy it (Ctrl-C).

Paste the link into your post (Ctrl-V), then wrap it in image tags.

HTML Code:

http://www.tinypic.com/ is also a good hosting site for pictures.

Could everyone be so kind as to not quote posts containing pictures? It clutters up the thread and makes it take longer to load.

If this is a bad idea for a thread then mods please feel free to close it down

Lets get the ball rolling with a couple of my own

A single hit to the belly literally cut this merchant in half.

This ship took a single torp to the stern, wobbled a bit and then came to a dead stop, i thought it would eventually sink but it was a stubborn little bugger.

So i decided to finish it off with a second torp

In my current career (USS Spearfish), I’m currently working against a large carrier task force:

Hit this escorting BB/BC at >3000 m. with 2 [of 4] MK14 impact

I'm currently shadowing the group in the hopes of finishing her off….

Thanks, can't wait to see what kind of picture quality I'll get when they fix the resolution/fsaa issues.

A different BB from the same TF; hit the fella with a single MK14 imp (out of a four shot salvo) in the stern that left her dead in the water as she was steaming away from me:

Que images like this one (she went to the locker after the fourth hit on her s-side)
