Default What's your favorite new feature?

So many good things about it's hard to pick just one. But one thing I really like is the cut scenes between patrols in career mode telling you about the progress of the war and setting the stage for the next mission. A very immersive element. Hat's off to the devs for that one.

I like the new water effects....although I finally had to break down and turn off "Evironmental Effects", which handles the water, along with other things because the volumetric fog was killing frames and locking up SH4 when a convoy was in view (high end system).

The Post-Process Filter always brings a new atmosphere to the game...very nice.

Lastly, the 3d damage offers a new level of immersion to things, even if it doesn't necessarily affect the operation of things it breaks apart (propeller shafts on some ships in particular).

I've spent what little freetime I've had the past three days tinkering with the game, but no patrols yet. So far I think the feature I will like the most is the imporved crew automation. I liked having the crew in SH3 but got sick of having to babysit them all the time. I'll have to see hw it goes once i sit down and finally start a career tomorrow!

The crew automation rocks my world. I love not having to put my WO back on everytime I do a hydrophone check.

The graphics...well, what can be said that hasn't been said before? They're absolutely gorgeous!

I like the career mode a lot better, it isn't just patrolling at to a grid for 24 hours and sinking vessels. I also love all the new eye candy (Planes that roll off the deck when a ship is capsizing)
