Default Grey Wolves Supermod

Installed the Grey Wolves Supermod last night, and so far i'm very impressed at the great level of detail....and that we can now have proper emblems on our subs from teh start of the war

Anyway, my question is: Does the Grey Wolves mod include enemy traffic in enemy harbours? Such as having crusiers or battleships docked in their bases?

Been ages since i've played SH3, are there any other good mods that would work well in tandem with Grey Wolves?

Cheers guys

Yes....just about every harbour has 'traffic' and places like Loch Ewe, Scapa Flow, etc. etc. etc. have an abundance of warships at differing times

If you really want to see all the "Enemy Traffic" in GWX then the mod you should download is SH3 Generator.

This is a little external program which will rewrite your in game captains log book and fill it full of good intel, on whats where and when. It will also place most of this intel on your F5 nav map. I never sail without it. I got it here...

Are you playing GWX or TGW 1.1a? GWX is a new better badder mod although I still use TGW 1.1a.

I'm playing GWX.

And right now i'm heading home after a decent first patrol.....but for the last 3 and a half hours game time (about and hour and a bit real time) I have been pursued by a armed trawler and destroyer....they're not even attacking me anymore, just pinging, and following me, even with me at Silent Running and chaning course and direction.

I've actually become tired of trying to lose them so ive saved and come off. My batterys are at 50%......it may look if they don't give up like i may have to try surfacing and running.

If they're not attacking they should p*ss off ane leave my boat alone. I've got some good sinkings i'm certain will earn me a medal when i return!!!!

its September 15th, 1939....my first patrol still. They shouldn't be shadowing me the way they are!!!

If I remember right, it was very difficult to track, let alone detect a Uboat in the first years of the war.

Thats odd. In 39 I did a close pass to a DD with my entire bridge crew mooning the DD. Tehy never saw me. You are silent running @ 2knts? What is your depth?

Are you actually silent running (you clicked the silent running button) or did you just set your speed at 2 knts? Either way,...you should be able to ditch them. Are they following you or are you just headed in the same direction as they are?

Oh yes I most certainly am running on Silent Running.

They usually just follow me, sail over my head, ciricle round, and repeat, while keeping with me all the time.

If my bats get too low......and if they havnen't given up i may have to blow and run. which could mean certain disaster!!!

Sounds like you found some real bastards. I find evading to be pretty easy up untill last 42 actually. Ive never had that much trouble with evading that early in the war. Wish I did though. Would have made it a lot less boring.

Yes, but when you spend an hour of real time trying to lose them.....boredom does kick in!!!

Dive to around 200m, you should be fine there. Unless you aren`t in a deep water.

Put your head next to the hull and start making whale sounds to throw them off.
