Radar still doesn't work fine
Started a new campaign in Pearl Harbor 1941, selected Tambor Class Submarine Installed a SD-Radar In the mission I can't turn on the radar (option is grayed out), but I get contacts from my Radar Operator. But that are surface contacts and no airplanes (which the SD-Radar should ONLY detect) Last edited by Fire; 03-23-07 at 09:26 AM. |

I've reinstalled sh4 three times today (figuring out this depth cauge CTD thingie):
1st- No problems, until I changed the ingame resolution from the default 1024 x 768 to higher. 2nd- I repeated 1st, CTD after resolution change 3rd- Didn't change resolution and all worked fine again, until I put the Keyboard function mod ( I would love to have it working) and a better diesel exterior sound. Changed back the original 1.1 Main.cfg didn't help, game kept crashing. I'll try again, but won't add any mods or sounds nor change ingame resolution whatsoever and see if this helps. Good thing is that it takes only around 20 mins to install the game. Maybe someone else could try to confirm these. Haven't try the "A" button yet...

Anyone notice that when raiding port, if you dont hit a moored ship so that the torpedo punches hole to it, the crew of the ship doesnt even notice it? Happened to me last night with 3 torpedos, for the 4th I switched to contact fuse and as soon as it punched a hole to the side of the tanker it started to search the port with it´s searchlights and the alarm onboard went on.

Well the mod changes the Commands.cfg file so removing main.cfg = no effect. r. |

i took some serious sufrace damage from a betty. near honshu sea.
most men died, some repaired, i was able to dive to 60 m, and hold for a few minutes. then the bettey came back around and threw some more bombs on me. i sank but kept sinking for like 2 minutes, in the control room, it kept spinning around, as if your at crush depth. but thats it, kept doing the same thing until i was at 1100 feet or so. then the game ended if i recall there was a similar bug in SH3.. dont remeber though, it seems familar though... |

Oh God please help! I have the following computer specs:
3.4 Ghz Pentium 4 1 GB RAM 6200SE Nvidia Geforce with 256MB RAM I HAVE NO SOUND CARD I HAVE A 1.1 PATCHED version of SH4 (UK) Version The game runs so slowly as to be unplayable. Is the lack of sound card the crucial factor or is there something very wrong with this software? ![]()

Actually i do have what I consider to be a bug to report. As far as I know it is only possbile to open the torpedo doors by pressing the 'q' button. This means that you can never have more than 1 torpedo tube opened.... I doubt that this is historically correct, so imho it's a bug. SH III had this as well, but there you could play with the tube doors via the weps off. , and the conning tower.
