Default Shelling Sanpans & working around 2D crew

I have to say, I wasn't too impressed last night trying out a few missions (2D crew problem, very sluggish performance, etc), but like they say the best eraser is a good night's sleep

So I started fresh tonight, and boy I'm glad I did. This sim may have some initial problems, but I think the improvements overall and the new surprises will make this a winner in the end.

Huge improvement in AA action, damn those Boffers are loud! Pretty fun splashing planes. But the neatest thing I saw yet was on approaching a small group of sanpans, I pulled up right alongside one, watched the crew walk around on deck, then proceeded to shell the length of the junk with my AA gun. Not only does the crew crouch for cover, they get wasted by the fire and fall onto the deck . You can hear some serious radio activity/alerts going on from inside the cabin. Very neat I thought.

I initially had the 2D crewmen/counting problem, but I noticed if I refrained from hitting ESC to pause the game, it seemed to not happen. I was also exiting to windows between missions just to refresh, not sure if that will be an issue for the patch or not, I'm thinking its more of a performance issue.

Play on!
