Well razzing is to be expected when you put a product to market that is not complete or working. I didn't realize SHIV was a re-skin. Usually, re-skins like the First Strike Mod being done for BF2142 by volunteers don't run into this many problems. I do applaud the graphics... which are meh on my x850 but still sharp. I also know you'll be scrambling to put out a number of patches in the next few weeks. But dang! This thing has more holes than U-853 sitting right offshore.

If I didn't know the game had such a dedicated following of modders/fixers, I'd be forced to scuttle it.

Getting a new message... from the Atlantic?

BDU:Can't you see that you've bet on a lame duck? Get back to Kiel!

You should check out the patch. Not so lame anymore.

This thread completely flew over my head...

Anyone care to explain it for a real dumb person?

No razzing ISN'T to be expected, at least not here at Subsim.

Treating people with respect is.

In stock Silent Hunter III, one of the only messages you got from "base" was "Be More Aggressive". It was in response to pretty much everything...

yeah i loved sinking like 20,000 tons of shipping, being all proud of myself, looking for a pat on the head from Onkel Karl and then getting a "be more aggressive"

OT

Neal, you really like SHIV? I´ve never seen you come out of your secret Area 51-wannabe SubSim command bunker this often. :rotfl:
