Brooms on subs? - Page 2

Fairly certain the first US sub in WWII to do that was Wahoo. They used an Australian broom someone had borrowed when Wahoo was in Brisbane, displaying it upon entering Pearl Harbour after the highly successful 4th (I think) patrol in which they sank an entire, unescorted, convoy of 4 ships.
