Default Mod Question?

Has anyone thought of a mod where we could pump out some "oil" as you always see in movies to help trick a destroyer? I would love to see a faint smoke mod for running the engines while surfaced.

I would go one further and say....what if your U-boat sustained an oil breech during severe combat (DC close to that part of the U-Boat containing the oil). Link it to the crew, so they have to repair the leak, your crew would be working like crazy, before the oil slowly but surely appeared on the surface.

Well, we are leaking oil now right when damaged? What if you could write a mod that faked like we were damaged and just increase the amount of visual oil. Coul dit be used as a trick against the destroyers like you see in the movies?

It could, but make sure you have plenty of depth between you and the bottom.

Sounds like a great idea for a Mod

This was raised a long while back but still a great mod if it ever were to happen

well there are oil slicks available there just small and short lived

but if you set it on a damage trigger and rigged it to sub

like a smoke mod but have substance still behave like

oil and with much expanded oil slick (whats right here) texture.

it is concievable but I am not at all sure it would be doable.
