I once had a long debate with Subman, I think, about why a skilled sword fighter would defeat a guy with an assault gun...

After this video, he probably will start to give up his opposition to me :rotfl:

Nevertheless, getting serious, that sounds like a mantra. Like all monotonous recitation, mantras can help to sharpen your mind, to silence your intellect and to strengthen your spirit. I soon expect to see Taliban levitating high above NATO positions ("talibanistic orbit") and bombard them with lethal Quran quotes (that's where the "hu" is referring to, it comes from "Hu-hu!"). They also may serve the purpose of mobile air mines to hinder the movement of NATO air power.

Not that kill ratios are important against an enemy with unlimited access to willing young men. Kill ratios is not important for the western troops. That their tribes and peoples would grow in mean age would be far more helpful. Old men are less enthusiastic to fight.

If you don't count the GBU's and GP's. Then it would be thousands to one.

You don't have to wait long before I give in. I bet you could take them all on with your blade before they even have a clue.

What fool gave these men, or should I say wannabe men, rifles? They might shoot their own foot off with it!

Its much higher in Afganistan. The low numbers come out of Iraq. Iraq at last count (last year) is almost 100/1. Afganistan is probably 250/1.
