Hi,
I installed GWX which runs fine except that when I go to the torpedo setup there is nothing to work with. Where has it gone or which file will restore it? All I have is the attack chart and a few letters and numbers. No dials! RR |

You have done something wrong.
1) Uninstall everything, uninstall SH3. 2) Check the SH3 Folder, delete anything left. 3) Install eerything again. Follow the GWX manual carefuly. 4) Profit. ![]()

Hi, You were right of course. but I did not want all that unloading and reloading malarkey.
I keep an unmodded SH3 V1.4 on a spare drive and copied it to the offending sh3 then reinstalled GWX, GWX 1.2 and all mods. Saves a lot of time, but I would have preferred to copy the relevant files from another install if I knew which ones. There's a lot of mysticism about the Black Sky problem, but now I know which files are needed I get them from another install. A lot of repairs can be done this way. RR. |
