I am considering picking up this game soon when I get a new PC with a DVD drive.
I am interested in ultimately installing the two popular mods I see mentioned in the stickies. Can anyone tell me if these mods alter the game's EXE or DLL files or are just data files changed by the mods? Thank you.

Changing EXE or DLL files is a big no no.
The two large mods (GWX & NYGM) are made up of data files, i.e dat, cfg etc etc. Besides to change these files you would need an SDK from UBI which thay haven't given us. ![]()

I have a double install with NYGM 2.4 and GWX and everything runs fine. Use MultiSH3 to create a separate folder with another name in My Documents.
I just made a copy of an SH3 1.4b install to another folder "SH3GWX", used MultiSH3 inside this one to create a GWX folder in My Documents, installed GWX in the new folder then NYGM in the original one.
