OT: To all German users

Today you've got to watch ZDF at 1930 hours. They show a documentary of U-864 that was sunk by HMS Venturer off the coast of Bergen.

That documentary was crap (IMHO), they made a lot of mistakes: The 'IWO' (XO) was a NCO and the sonar operator was an Oberleutnant z.S. for example.

Was this U-boat not carrying mercury cannisters and rocket engines for delivery to Japan :hmm:
IIRC it was aired on the History channel in the UK about a month ago :hmm:

Yes, that's the boat. But I think the documentary I saw was a German production.:hmm:
