Default Trying out GWX!

I will tryout GWX as my processor can't handle the default 16km visibility in NYGM, first I have some questions though...

1. As far as realism goes, what's the biggest differences between GWX and NYGM?

2. Any major gameplay bugs still present in GWX?

3. Is the crash dive blues bug still present?

4. When will the next patch for GWX be released?

Answers appriciated!

Check the GWX Manual http://files.filefront.com/GWX_Manua.../fileinfo.html All the answers to your questions can be found in there

I've read the manual and it states which realism futures there are in GWX but I want to know what the community thinks, anything important missing?

The manual furthermore states fixes but not bugs in the same extent...

It doesn't state anything about the crash dive blues...

It doesn't state when the next patch is due...

Please help me out here!

Default the next patch

it is reported that the next patch is largely ready now and a little overdue.
however the lead hand on GWX is having severe hardware difficulties causing
a delay of his entries for the patch
it wont be to long though im sure.

The only bugs that exist in GWX are the stock ones. Everything else is handled by the Dec-23 update and the Jan/Feb Patch.

The patch is ready and under Beta Testing. It should be released to the general public in a couple of weeks if all goes well and there are no serious problems.

I'm trying to do this. Check the 'official' GWX thread (first post) for all patches/updates issues http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=102096 and http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=104377 for information on the AI.

Differences in the two I can not talk about because I use GWX. There was no need to go any further than that once I started with it. I have added just two other mods, Sobers 3D water and Ocean Blues torepedo damage mods. You will not be disappointed with GWX.

Beta testing of the GWX update commenced two days ago so it should be released in a few weeks barring any major 'glitches'

I will also add some personal preferences to my GWX

* ex_rasiban
* music (Rina Ketty & Lale Anderson)
* music (all ingame except menu-music to "3mins of silence" (not zero size!)
* music fanfare to "erzherzog albrecht marsch"
* some speech (additional DBoot & some done by sale999)
* some addition key commands (timecompression to 1, Weather, etc)

besides that -> GWX fits perfect to me... Great!

I like to enjoy all out of SH3, so I have a double install and I play both mods.
