need help!

this is what i want to do:

1.play silent hunter 3 in stock mode
2.play silent hunter 3 in gwx mode

my problem is that i install the game and i got the gwx mod,but what i want to do is able to play both versions of the game.which when i try to play is regular sh3 i cant,becouse i get the gwx mod in my loading screen,i think i read you have to make a copy of the sh3 folder and something else,but i dont know how to do it.
all i want is to play sh3 stock one day,then play sh3 with gwx the next time,is there a way to do it.thanks you guys for all the info,great site and im learning alot.

rename the original SH3 folder and then put the SH3 disk in the drive and click repair

and there you go

You need to do multiple installations.

1. Install SH3 and patch it to 1.4.
2. Copy your installation folder in C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3 and paste it in C\Program Files\Ubisoft. Re-name the new folder GWX
3. Download the MultiSH3 from the link in my signature
4. Extract the MultiSH3 inside the GWX installation.
5. Run the MultiSH3 and name the Folder in C\My Documents GWX
6. You're ready to play both stock and GWX, just make two shotcuts in your desktop and you're OK
