Ships that have already been hit...

I have a couple of questions i hope you guys could answer regarding the dynamic campagin in GWX.

1. Is it possible that you could come across the remnants of a battle and find ships which are damaged or sinking?

2. Also, say i am in the grid on the date when the Hood vs Bismark faught for real...Will I be able to see them battlling?

3. Lastly, is it possible to come across non-scripted warship battles?

3. Possible, yes. Someone else wrote about a battle between an English destroyer group and a German convoy guarded by an escort in late '44 around Norway.

Aye that was me

There is A TF that hangs around Norway most of the war
So happened that while they were attacking me I led them North which was into the path of a German convoy

Saved my ass

You may be able to come across non scripted stuff in other places too
There are mid war forays across the English channel by German MTB and simulated minelaying by German DD also
There are also the same from the Brit side as well
Now I know the channel is a nightmare but it does become a little easier after France falls especially as Dunkirk is handy to stop in
So if your that way at night you may see some action

Have also seen a group of 4 Ge DD and a Br DD have at it just off Eire

last time i was in the med, just ahead of an italian convoy, what stumbled on an english taskforce.. i dived and saw the two killing off each other.
then sh3 crashed... didnt saw the outcome.
