I have had a little play with some of the special effects in GWX because although I like much of the realism stuff, I also want to see the ships sink like they do in the movies and not like in real life i.e. just slipping under the water with little effect.

No setting has changed as far as ship sinking times are concerned.

Great stuff again as usual. For a little suspense this can be built into the random structure so the player never knows if he'll get the standard version or the "Hollywood" version. Soon as my WAW patrol is over I'm plugging in GWX ----can't wait Cheers!

Greetings and thank you this is just the eye candy I have been looking for.
Any chance of adding new and different coloured explosions and smoke to simulate, steam, oil and electrical fires and/or smoke. Also Do you know if its possible to raise the height and volume of the smoke so goes higher and looks real J |

Hi there.
It sounds like a great mod. Unfortunatly I've lost patience trying to download from Rapidsh#t. Never used them before but was told that I'd exceeded my download limit. waited 6 mins to try again and was refused the download, tried several times and have now given up. ![]() My question is are there any plans to host this mod on another server? Otherwise it looks like I'll not be able to enjoy it. ![]() Either way I'd like to say a big thanks to all who work on these mods - they make the game get better and better. |

What I would like to see, from anyone. Is a more efective looking plume of smoke from burning tankers. The pictures from the war mostly tend to show a huge pillar of black oily smoke. It may play hell with frame rates though
