Congrats on your first x1 TC patrol.

FYI - Can you reduce the size of your image, 2.3mb is rather big.

Congrats! My crew did not all get medals either after the first patrol. I got like 26 of the war patrol medals. Anyway, good job. Currently my game play has been 1X because with GWX I just cannot blast around anymore like a Banshi. Heck, most times I have to stay on the conning tower with the watch because they are missing ships. I'm seeing them with my binoculars before they are. I have a full green bar with my watch to boot. Not to mention my sonar man is partially deaf so I have to work that station every now and then. Second war patrol so I'm building up experience!

Still playing patched Vanilla

Congrats on your patrol!! I find myself manning the hydrophones on a regular basis. Even though I keep 2 qual'd operators on watch, they can not hear ships that are stationary although their engineering noise blows my headphones off.. I picked up (and sank) 2 C2's that were riding out a storm. They were drifting at 1 kt. and except for the 9' swells, they were easy picking once I found them..

Great job, those screen shots are fantastic!!

Oh, by the way Codmander. Did you take the boat all the way in? After my first patrol in GWX I had the highest tonnage ever and wanted to feel the fanfare after a great patrol so I took the boat all the way to the moorings and the nurses

na 11 days my time 8 days game time was enough besides i needed to install a 3rd fan for cooling and wasnt happy about the weather playing 1x seems we need to adjust it for 1x playing and didnt want to edit the weather until i was in port because of the fact 1x we save the game playing hours instead of days no tc the weather dosnt have time to change

More and more I'm looking hard at playing 1x soley. With GWX it just makes more sense as I play the game. Currently I do not go above 32X but I find my men are missing things. As it stands now I might be able to do a complete 1x patrol in about a month.

the toughest part is the homeward leg man just like real life cant wait to hit solid ground leaving is ok because you can just head 270 ish and be in hostile water pretty quick out of wilhelmshaven

need to adjust the weather tho... ill be doing some try outs before i sail again see if i can get the weather to change daily instead of weekly

Yes, the weather is a real issue. Weeks on end storms. I just put up with for the most part.
