Default SH3 Commander R2.7 issue with GWX?

I have just noticed that I am having a certain crewman (a Petty Officer in this case) respawn himself muliple times during my last patrol. Basically, every time I surfaced the ship, this guy would assume his position on the bridge, and then a double of this guy would show up in my sleeping quarters. It happened three times, so I had four of these guys, all with the same name and qualification, by the time the mission ended.

I also noticed a similar episode of this when I am starting my next patrol. After I get back from a patrol, I exit the game, update SH3 Commander, and then start the game back up to go on my next patrol. Usually SH3 Commander will have something happen to one of my crewman, so I immediately go to the recruitment area before I start my next patrol to replace any lost crewman due to SH3 Commander. Before my last patrol, I also noticed that I had two of the same Petty Officers on this screen as well, so I actually had one extra Petty Officer than what I was supposed to have. I dismissed one of the body doubles, and then started my next patrol.

Anyone else having trouble with this? Is this a problem with SH3 Commander R2.7, GWX, or something having to do with my installation of either of these programs?

I guess I am the only one experiencing this. I think I need to do a complete re-install of SH3, SH3 Commander, and GWX for peace of mind.

I am in the middle of a campaign right now. Can I do an uninstall, and reinstall, of the above programs, and then be able to go back to my campaign that is still in progress as long as I don't fool around with my "My Documents-SH3" Folder? Or, should I finish up my current campaign and then do the uninstall-reinstall ritual?

Thanks.

Best finish your patrol first
And be sure to rollback SH3commander before unistalling anything

Can't say what caused this, but it has nothing to do with GWX. Happened to me on one of my patrols a week before GWX came out. I went back to my last save, restarted, and the problem disappeared.

I have now played a couple more patrols, and I have not had this situtation happen anymore. I guess I am not going to worry about it. I think I may have been surfacing under TC, and this may have created some kind of problem. I haven't surfaced under TC lately, so I have not had this problem. Not sure if this was it or not, but I am not going to worry about it.

Thanks for letting me know about your experience, and the fact that it happened before GWX. I am not going to uninstall GWX now.
