So the installation order for a fresh install is: Stock game, 1.4b patch, GWX, SH3Commander. Right? Does it matter, after patching the game, whether I install GW or Commander first?
Also, are the same realism options available? This GWX is all geared towards realism I was wondering if those options still work (i.e. auto TDC, god-mode for map, dud torps on/off, etc). |

There is no problem if you install first GWX or SH3Cmd, just make sure you're using the extra SH3Cmd files for GWX, otherwise you might experience problems.
As far as the realism settings are concerned yes there are the same options. GWX is adjustable to all tastes. Usually the DDs are more accurate and more deadly but if you learn to adjust your tactics and play in a clever way you can survive longer. Give it a try it's really good ![]()

Realism options are the same....you might want to read the manual prior to playing
