Mod for labels on map?

Does anyone know about a mod that let's you add labels and timestamps on the map? It would be helpfull both for speed calculations and to remember if that ship i plotted in some english harbor was a stationary troop ship or a stationary destroyer.

Me have poor memory.

I dunno about labels but in the vanilla game there are timestamps (I have the god's eye map on though...sue me.)
