Default Multipul SHIII Installs

Seeing GWX is coming out soon and many want multipul installs for the various versions, can we get a "Stickey" thread setup on how to?

Everything is scattered all thru the foums and for those new to SHIII and those not sure what to do, it would make things for them so much easier than doing a Search. Which, btw, only brings up one discussion that has no real info. Everyone with their "how too's" with what's needed and links can add it all here, or a Moderator can set one up. I do know SHIII Commander and JSGME, SHIII Gen and the Multipul Install Mod are needed. Yeah yeah... SHIII and Patch 1.4b are needed too.

I had a 2 installs of the game before i started testing GWX, how i made my two installs are below.
All i did was :
1) install SH3 patch to 1.4.
2) Go into mycomputer/programe files/ubisoft/sh3
3) Installed the GW1.1a Mod
4) Copy the SH3 file this took about 5 mintues or so.
5) Renamed one install GW MP
5) When i lauched the MP install i just went into mycomputer selected that install and double clicked on the SH3 icon.

The other install i used for my career and i just loaded it up the normal way. Inever had a problem with this.
I hope this help you guys out.

Have just read the readme in MultiSH3 and everything you need to know is in there.

I have mirrored MultiSH3 here....

Thank You Potoroo, for this excellent program.

I thought about expanding MultiSH3 to do the actual file copying, etc, as well as patching the SH3 save folder, but there hasn't been any demand for it in the MultiSH3 thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=98608). If people would like MultiSH3 expanded they need to tell me!

You're most welcome. It's just my little contribution to the community.

If your program can be made more 'fool' proof, then you have one customer here.

Potoroo, they sure do want multi installs. That would be great expanding MultiSH3 to do the actual file copying. ~S!~

I'm prepared to work on MultiSH3 V2. Please post suggestions, etc, in the MultiSH3 thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...883#post356883).
