TGW and the Sky Darkens

Hola,

I have been running TGW for a week now and am still discovering amazing new features. Absolutely amazing mod,

Just having one problem with it though.... The Sky is permanently Dark and almost black. Ive tried different longitudes and all but the time and the sky are never synchronized. When i view a target in free view mode if will show properly but from the bridge and my scopes the sky is always dark, even at 1400. Any one have any ideas? Thanks and happy hunting to you all

P.S. I have no other mods besides TGW running and have tried a reinstall

Did you delete the folder in My Documents when you reinstalled?

Like Stabiz stated. When you loaded up GW was the game completely uninstalled? MY DOCUMENTS hide a SH3 folder...dump it. Do a complete search of the hard drive and dump anything SH3 related. Treat every file like a virus and dump it all!!! When we mean clean install we mean clean. Install the original game, load the correct 1.4b patch(there are 4 to choose from). Load the GW mod. Give it a go!
Let us know the outcome. For the most part this has taken care of alot of problems related to orphan folders hiding out on the hard drive. If this takes care of the issue, other mods at this point can be installed. For instance I slapped in Sobor water mod and game runs fine, water looks great!

I had a similar problem. Just adjust the brightness of your monitor. That is all I needed.
