(wich grids and wich years)
If you're feeling lucky, you can go to AM53. It's VERY shallow, but you'll find a LOT of convoys going through almost all the time.

You can find occasional lone liners at AM64, and numerous tankers at ED98, DN84, EC96 and ED85-ED86...again no specific dates.

You can also find liners at BE12-BE13 from 1940 to 1942.

You can find a lot of lone ships of all types and occasional LARGE convoys SW of Great Britain at BE39

Good hunting!
mmmm sounds good thanks

Also check the grids north/south and just east/west of Grid BE 68.

And too, Grids GC 84 thru 89. I just saw 2 convoys Sept 30, '43 on my return out of Cassablanca, where I scored 12 ships sitting anchored in the harbor. One was east bound the other west bound in in CG 88. Too bad I was out of torpedos.

Use SHIII Commander and you can select the patrol grids you want. Not what BDU gives you as they'll usually be empty. Plus you don't have to go on those long patrols to the norht American coast.

Good luck and good hunting. ~S!~

Sorry, I cant, my SH3 install is gone, and won`t be modded until the GWX beta testing is done. Apparantly the mod was not intended for use with GW anyway, so I probably messed some stuff up. (Could be why an invicible task force killed me :rotfl

Danlisa said something about a GW version, but I dont know where to get it.

This version of Spy Sat is found in the general mods section on UBRS, by the way.

My first patrol in 41 with a new career sees me going to the south Atlantic a little South of Spain. Any suggestions on hunting below the cold weather belt? Interestingly enough I've never been to the South Atlantic.

Try ED98 between June42-OCT43 just at the mouth of the bay.Everything that goes to/from Port of Spain (inc convoys)go through this opening.

You could also pick up SH3Gen which gives you configurabel intelligence for your patrol. It depends on whether you want a Spy in the sky or on the ground.

Or you could do like me: Just going for your grid and hope that you meet something on the way....That what I'd used to do..but I think I'll change my tactics soon...

I know that this is most probably a really stupid question, but what is UBRS?

hmm i read that BF13 and BF15 where good flak hunting grounds
i found no planes sailed from BF13 to BF15 then to BF13 again and over and over again still no planes
only thing i got from sailing over there was a damaged U-104 (stupid destroyer)
well atleast U-104 made it back
