Working Tonight

Hello Everyone!
I am substituting for my friend at work tonight. So I am working as a harbourmaster. I basically have to stay up throughout the whole night not doing mutch. Once in a while a go out on patrol in the harbour to check if everything is okey. No boats are scheduled to arive this night, so I guess that it will be very slow and long night. Is anyone else working tonight? Do you have any good suggestions for what I should do when I get really sleepe? Or do you know some fun activities I could do?(Playing with signalflares is not an option) I have a computer and a TV, but here in Sweden they stop transmiting fun things very early.

Cool. Do you act as a guide if a ship does come in? ie. - a pilot?

For that job, there is the ideal movie to watch in a lonely, dark night: Carpenter's "The Fog"

Luckely no, I dont have to guide in ships

I've seen both "The Fog" movies, the original is a great movie, I would not like to watch it now since the weather here sucks, it's foggy, and it's raining.

I would start searching for contraband. I'd board all boats and perform strip-searches.

Or, just enjoy it. I love the sea and any chance to be near it or on it is enough for me.

The vid.......

As for passing the time, if you're by yourself bring a laptop and a FPS game (or something like that).

If you have someone else there, buy a boardgame or bring one and play it.

I am alone, my only companion is the internet and the Subsim forums.
Got scared as hell a moment ago when I was out patroling. I could not find my carkeys, I thought that I had lost them, but I found them in the dashboard, lucke me that they where there. If I had left them somewhere else in the car, it would have autolocked itself after 15 minutes.

So Ramius re-appears after a long time submerged.I thought that you may have crossed the bar but it would appear that it is resurgam.
So where have you been anyway? It is about time you put some life back into the SC forum!

Should have taken a fishing rod and some bait to work. That's what I used to do when I knew it would be slow.
