Hi all
![]() Is the mod "Integrated orders" compatible with NYGM ? Because I hate the big originals command buttons. Too big, too white and too luminous for the night. ![]() Thanks for your help ![]() |

I think it's the "Chomu's Integrated Orders" included in IUB.
![]() Here : http://ubrsdlc.realsimulation.com/ SH3 Mods (Generale section) Page 3 It remove the big command icons on the center of the screen and replace it by little icons on the low left corner. It change the command.de file Last edited by lumat83; 10-19-06 at 01:05 AM. |

It is extremely unlikely that the Integrated orders mod can just be overlaid onto NYGM (any version) since it will affect the menu_1024_768.ini file, which controls many of the screen dials and buttons. It would, in fact, itself have to be integrated into this file.
I don't know whether there are any plans to incorporate this mod, which I personally have not seen. There doesn't seem to be much demand to justify the labour, does there? Of course, you could always try it for yourself, loading it with J Scones' JSGME mod incorporator, then let us know the answer. However, I think that it is very likely that changing the menu_1024_768.ini file (which is what would happen) would cause a CTD during loading of SH3. If that happens, just use JSGME to reverse the loading. [Presumably you know already how to use JSGME? If not, it might be dangerous to make your first experiment with something that is likely to crash, so in that case, I'd advise against trying.] Stiebler. Is this the mod that also replaces the left side station icons with r/l photos??
If so, i think I tried installing it with JSGME on the first versions of NYGM and also GW but I could not get it to work due to ctd's. If I remember correctly, I believe a member here named caroito got it to work in his unofficial add-on to GW but I think it "broke" some of the original features.

Here you have the original thread for the "Integrated Orders mod" by chomu.
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ighlight=Chomu It even includes a version for RUb 1.45. As the author says, the purpose of the mod is to be able to control the U-boat just using the mouse, without using the keyboard. To make it possible, a lot of new orders have been added to the graphical interface: Helmsmen -Propulsion -Emergency orders --Crash dive --Blow balast --Knuckle port --Double knuckle port --Knuckle starboard --Double knuckle starboard --Deploy decoys -Maneuvers --Periscope depth --Snorkel depth(NEW) --Dive(NEW) --Surface(NEW) --Maintain depth(NEW) --Heading to view(NEW) --Rudder amidship(NEW) --Hard to Port(NEW) --Hard to Starboard(NEW) -Captain's menu(NEW) --Captain's log(NEW) --Go to bed(NEW) -Reports Weapon officer -Torpedo attack --Identify target --Solution to target --Open tube(NEW) --Close tube(NEW) --Fire torpedo -Choose torpedo target -Weapons management -Solution on map -use periscope(NEW) --Rise whole ATK-scope(NEW) --Lower whole ATK-scope(NEW) --Rise whole OBS-scope(NEW) --Lower whole OBS-scope(NEW) Radio operator -Report -Radar -Gramophone -Radio Message(NEW) Watch officer -Choose deck gun target -Torpedo attack -Crew on deck -Weapons management -Deck Gun -Flak Gun -Nearest visual contact -Weather(by RUb1.44) -UZO & Binocular(NEW) --use UZO(NEW) --use Binocular(NEW) I really love this mod !!! Please, check it and consider including it in the next release of NYGM. It improves a lot the User Interface !!! Txema |

Txema,
Thanks for the link. I just miss so much ![]() With the understanding that I am not the menu expert and the NYGM menu expert being MIA due to work, I see no reason why we could not include it as an option in the next release. |
