Default Fatigue.

hi guys, just re-installed SH3 with GW 1.1a and my men are getting tired every 24 hrs. i fiddled with the fatigue settings in SH3 commander, what do I need to have it on to prevent this. my diesels turn off constantly because everyone is knackered.

I think you have two options.

1.) Keep as many of your men in their bunks as possible, sending them to their stations as needed while maintaining a rotation to swap out the fatuiged crew with rested crew.

or

2.) Turn fatigue off altogether and not worry about it.

well before it sort of went on hold while in compressed time mode. id like that back. rather than my diesels packing up every 10 seconds (literally) in 1024X speed.

@Ducimus: How do you turn off the fatigue? This feature of SH3 really ticks me off!

Download sh3commander, and in the sh3 options/gameplay settings you can turn it off. What a delight. This is the single best feature of sh3 commander.

I agree that fatigue is annoying. Ive experimented with it in all sorts of ways, and ultimatly all it does, is just tick me off.

Anywho, open sh3/data/cfg/basic.cfg

using the "find" function, try and find, " Fatigue_Coef " Which is the header name of a section within this file. In the section directly after that header, you'll see variables that effect each compartment. Each compartment has two states, when its submerged and when its surfaced. change the values to = 0, and fatigue goes away.

You can select No Fatigue in SH3 Commander. No need to change your config.
