Default Kilo's radar

Hello all. I was just wondering if anyone else has a problem seeing contacts on the Kilo's radar station? On the other subs. The Seawolf and 688 they are fine. Or is it just me?

The Kilo sonar is not on the par with american/soviet akula sonars.
So don't expect the same kind of long range performance.

He's talking about radar, not sonar. Maybe they just invested in cheap quality radar systems for the kilo.

OK. I was also asking about how "bright" the contact is? If you look at the 688I and Seawolf's radar and if there is a contact it is bright enough to see. However with the Kilo's you have to turn off your lights in your room to see it. I had a contact in truth showing around 10 miles away but radar could not see it and if it was there, I could hardly see it with my eyes on the radar screen. Cool about what you did say earlier. I do like some submarine history. Cya. -Kirk
