Howdy - first post so I hope I'm not covering old ground. I did search around a bit.
I'm new to subs and subsims too, but I've just started playing SH2 on my geriatric laptop. It's splendid entertainment, but one thing I've noticed is that the "/" key doesn't reset time zooming to 1x, as it says in the manual. The other slash doesn't, and neither does the one on the numeric keypad seem to. Am I being an idiot, or is this a known bug? Chris |

Does your laptop have a key to enable the ones normally placed on the numeric pad of a conventional keyboard
![]() Anyway...out of memory I think it was backspace what did reset the time to zero...you can do that and then get up to 1x ![]()

Use the \ key to drop to 1X time compression (that's the backstroke key). The forward slash key ( / ) does nothing in SH2.
Alternatively, increase TC with the + key; reduce it with the - key. Backspace pauses the game ( = 0 TC ). All of the hotkeys are explained in the manual on pages 185 - 187.
