add a deck gun to xxi-type boat

I want to add a deck gun to xxi-type boat.
I have tried to edit Basic.cfg and .eqqfile in the submarine folder,
but deck gun have been never appeared.

please give me your help.

You cant add a deck gun AFAIK and it shouldnt have one either
The XXI never had a deck gun as late war deck guns were pretty much useless and the subs spent more time under water than on surface
Merchants are armed and more aircover meant they were removed from most subs in 43

If i remember..the XXI has no deck hard point so you cannot add a deck gun sorry..you may be able to clone it and add a HP but DONT quote me on this as i am in no way a ship modder

No you are right Pants there is no HPoint to add it to
I dont even think its possible to substitute a flak for deckgun

The XXI is a lovely looking sub that would be spoiled with a DG IMHO
Plus by the time you can get a XXI the thing will be eye candy only
