GWX KC display issue with enhanced special effects

I have really been enjoying GWX KC, really polished however I am getting an issue I've never seen before in SH3.

With the Enhanced Special Effects mod enabled in JGSME (which look great btw) while on patrol my screen will randomly go black for a few seconds it then comes back and again it will go black for a few seconds more before coming back again.

However occasionally it does not come back at all and stays black. The game hasn't crashed I can still issue orders etc but I can't see the screen and am forced to tab out and close sh3.

The issue doesn't occur without the ESE mod installed. Does anyone know what might be causing it as I would really like to use the mod as it looks great?

Ignore this nothing wrong with the mod. It was the way I was limiting frame rate. All sorted now.
