"The First Take" is a youtube channel you can go on and belt out a song with no rehearsal, only one take. A lot of well known singers ( the world's a big place ) have appeared on it.

The featured singer is a Vocaloid !!!!! a 3d hologram, I'm seriously impressed ( I'm only a simple guy ) but wow. Auto translate works for a better experience. The technology that's coming out from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and young musicians blows my socks off.....

Someone I haven't seen posted here in a while is Peter Gabriel. As most know, Peter had been the front man for Genesis when Phil Collins was still behind the drum set. The incredible syncopated rhythm in the song-Red Rain is provided by bassist Tony Levin and drummer Jerry Marotta playing the percussive beats and Stewart Copeland of the Police providing the steady back beat. What an awesome piece of music and example of great Musicianship. I have often wondered what was going on in Peter's life or what his thoughts were as he wrote this epic piece of Music.

Peter Gabriel really created a masterpiece. Why doesn't anyone make music like this anymore ?

More great drumming from Jerry Marotta and bass playing from Tony Levin. These tracks were Sublime in the way they incorporated and interpreted African drums not as much an Instrument but a voicing and incorporated Peter Gabriels interpretations and engineered into the song tracks.
