Default How to disable scrolling Navigation Map...if possible..

OK, I cannot take it anymore. It is one of those really small annoyances that finally happen often enough to drive you nuts. My Nav map is overly sensitive. If I try to get to map tools it scrolls up, let go of my mouse too close to the side and before I can grab it I have scrolled to antarctic.

Is there somewhere where this can be disabled? I recall seeing a Nav. map mod somewhere where this was one of its features... TIA

Hi, just download my Sliding Stations Panel (Lower part of signature) & the fix is in there as well as other annoyances, all listed, rename the downloaded file to "Sliding Stations Panel v2.rar".
Cheers.

Default map motion

Reece,
Thanks for this mod. I can't tell you how often I got pissed off because the map moved when I was trying to do something near the edge. I have even been able to stop my high blood pressure medicine!!!

Reese, only 2 little bugs I see for the Sliding Panels mod. The text in bottom center of the Nav Map screen only stays orange for 5 seconds and then changes to white, so it you can't read it. You can't read any text because the background is white too. The other screens are ok as they have different background color. How can I change it back to orange letters?

Over the Officer icons in the lower left, when you click on one of them, you can't see the little boxes over them. The only way they show is when you put the mouse arrow on them, then they change color to be seen.

But then again I might be the only one seeing this. Just want to make sure it's supposed to be this way or not.

Here's the Nav Map.... both bugs show here.

And Scope screen to show white text in bottom center.

Hi GT 182,

you have to use the 'Leer.tga' for darker background!

SSB, nope not using the Leer.tga. I'll look for it and check it out. Thanks.

Gotta wait until this patrol is done and "In Base" before I put it in.

Hi GT182, It certainly doesn't look right at all, for a start use the leer.tga file as SSB mentioned, it is supplied in the mod, please make sure you are using version 2 of the mod, also try with the supplied Bkgr.tga.
From the Readme:
The Leer.tga & Bkgr.tga supplied are the best files I could find for the job (Many Thanks to their creators!)
Simply place in the appropriate folder, if you don't like the Menubar Icons I created then take em out!! However if you do I recommend CAPTAIN AMERICA'S - 'OFFICER ICON MOD' (CA_Officer_Icon_MoD), should be available to download from http://u-boot.realsimulation.com, this is a match for my Menubar Icons!

Also noticed that the Menubar Icons not completely sliding away see here:
10) Also if you want to adjust the Group shortcuts find the following Block (Search for "Name=Group shortcuts") & change the HorizSlide=-30 to HorizSlide=-54 this will hide the Bar totally instead of partially showing!

[G3F IXX]
Name=Group shortcuts
Type=1026;Menu group
ItemID=0x3F020000
ParentID=0x3F000000
Pos=-1,761,56,474
Color=0xFFFFFFFF
HorizSlide=-54

Other improvement to the Menu_1024_768.ini file are contained in my mini mods download, hope this helps, let me know if you still have problems.
Cheers.

PS. Glad you like the mod irish!

It is version 2 I'm using Reece. Not sure what's causing the problem. Went in fine with JSGME.

I'm in mid patrol and will have to wait until in base to reinstall version 2.
