SH3 GWX Gold 3.0 black loading screens

So I just recently decided to get back into playing Silent Hunter 3 again, I have the GWX mod installed, but upon booting it up, I get black loading screens, no intro, nothing, the game still loads and runs perfectly fine, but there's black loading screens, I've tried changing it to the recommended compatibility mode for it, and nothing I've tried works, I'm not sure what the issue could be, any help and advice is welcomed.

OK, I've fixed the issue, I've added the widescreen 1920 x 1080 patch, now it shows loading screens, the only thing it doesn't show is the intro, but that's a very minor issue, the game still runs perfectly fine, I just needed to see the loading screens. Thanks. This can be L&A'ed.
