Two
 First snow may have powdered the landscape here and there. A walk across the cold land. Every sound immediately congeals into frost on the branches. Anticipation of the warm home, the warm glow, the scents of the pre-Christmas season. Then, a coming to rest, sitting together around candles and dimmed lights. Warm coffee or tea, the scent of cinnamon, diffused by pastries. Comfort.
