Default Chinese black helicopters circle Google Earth

"Those among you who like your skies darkened by black helicopters are invited to mosey on down to the remote Chinese village of Huangyangtan which hosts what must be the strangest military installation ever spotted by the Google Earth Community." http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/07...ngtan_mystery/

That is very strange, and then, on the next page, the comparison! That is EXACTLY the same.

I thinkI recognize this...it looks like the Kaminskaya river front on the Northern Chinese/Russian border. The same place that the un-official Chino-Russian war occurred.

*EDIT*

Found the site documenting the incident and apparently I've had the name wrong this whjole time.

Well I've said it once and I'll say it again. You can't trust the Chinese (government). And isn't it lovely how we're helping to build them into the next great economic superpower?

We are going to pay a price for this...trust me. And when I say we, I'm not just talking about the USA either.

What in the...

Ok, that is just wierd...perhaps the Chinese military like to play with their model tanks there? I mean, I've heard of people taking up their living rooms with their wargames models (H.G Wells for example) but this is taking it to a new extreme!

Actually the Chinese are planning to sneak down to the border with India in the middle of the night and swap the fake territory for the real one. Hopefully the Indians will be to busy taking technical phone support phone calls to notice.

:rotfl:

But of course we'd be even more surprised if we see the chairman on his hands and knees in the middle of the model playing with firecrackers, toy tanks and airplanes.

You know if the chinese catch wind of how we're making fun of them they might just nuke this entire message board. They have been known to do things outside their jurisdiction.
