Some fine examples there Sky and within an hour or so drive of me we have Bamburgh, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Alnwick Castles.

Bah! every body's got castles! this one saves me and my guests a trip to Italy(Tuscany) on a miserable airplane every year-only 20 minutes up the valley: complete with torture chamber
    Built from imported Italian stone and a true fotress; it survived one of the great napa fires intact when other wineries did not!
