Default Help me, HEEELLPPP ME!

I am in idiot. I have been playing this game since June 05. I was in Nov 1944. I was looking at all the saved games I had and was thinking I needed to delete a few. So I, having had "only" two martinis decided to start at the beginning and hit delete save. Got some odd message about how it would delete all saves after that and absentminedly with the wife asking me about coffee for the next day hit yes.

Is there any way to get it back. I was like the uber tonnage king and had the ultimate crew. I am soooooo verrryyyyyy saaaaddd.

I am not sure if this will work but, if shIII saves are just data, then maybe if you use system restore to a time before you deleted them, they might come back.

Start/programs/accessories/system restore.

Assuming you have XP and system restore is turned on.

There are undelete tools on the web. Best idea is to SHUT-DOWN the PC you have to goodies on. Every file you write, every web page you download could overwrite those files you want to keep.

Use another computer to download the undelete utility. Put it on a floppy, USB Drive or burn to CD. Turn on the PC you want to recover files on and run the undelete from the external media. Don't copy it to the hard drive.

It's very important to use the PC as little as possible till you recover your files.

Well I knew system restore was too good to be true as an option. It didn't work. So, Darksun, can you recommend any particular undelete tool?

PC Inspector File Recovery, it´s freeware:

Now that you´ve tried a system restore the chances to undelete the files are about zero.

But to look on the bright side, I've decided to restart at Lorient with Op Drumbeat. I've got a IXC!

I always try to look on the bright side after a hard bender!
