Right side of game picture cut off

Dear all,
I am playing SH3 with LSH3 2020. Now I suddenly have the issue that the right side of the screen is like cut off. Especially the "Start" button in the commando room is missing now. I already tried different graphic settings and playing in windowed mode.... it´s always that the picture is stretched horizontal and the right part of the picture is missing.


Any idea how I can fix this?

Personally I would answer more to that.. this theme has been so often treated...
you just have to read what we offer you we are not on the console here..

look at page seven onwards in your LSH2020 PDF manual tells you how to setup the resolution even if your GPU doesent have 1360 x 768px
use the custom-resolution utility within LSH2020

Dear all, maybe I did not explain correctly, maybe I don´t get it.



I don´t have the issue that I cannot stretch the picture to full-screen. No matter if full-screen or in windowed mode, some cm. of the picture are not displayed. I can even switch my screen resolution to 1360x768 or 1024x768 - but in game I have the same issue. At some resolutions I have a black stripe left and right, but the game picture "ends" without having displayed the right side of the in-game screen. It has to be something IN the game.



I will keep searching for a solution....

1 thing, that would help... immensely... is posting in a new reply, your current mod/s activated listing, here.

To do so, simply open jsgme... click 'tasks', located dead center top of the list there... & select from the pop-up menu, export > clipboard. This will allow you, to then... paste that activated mods list from jsgme, to here... in your reply.

Which, will then let us here... be able to see, just exactly your running with, as it pertains to mods along with... SH3. From there, can then see if there is any mod/s that may be causing issues.


During all of this... that has never been asked for, or mentioned.... just saying.


Knowing what you are working with, with mods... can & often times, helps... eliminate troubles... or provide for a solution to them, otherwise.

Open JSGME and then use the "Tasks..." link in the middle gutter of the applet. Choose "Export activated mod list" or "Export activated mod list to..." dependent upon the versoin of JSGME LSH uses. Copy the list and then post it in your next posting. The first part of that will show where you have the game installed, so if you do not copy that portion of the text, you should include that info separately. Also, is it a Steam version of the game you are using, a different download, or a disk version? Are you attempting to re-use a Saved game from before activating LSH? Have you added more mods after first having installed LSH and playing that?

yes, I have checked out the link. As far as I understood I can create a screen resolution manually there if my screen does not support 1380x768px. And yes, it worked to create a customized resolution. Still the cut-off stayed.

it is advisable here to give us the specificities of your machine
1 image format supported.?.
2 power? Gpu... Ram... Cpu... hard drive.. this may help..
3 is this a laptop.. or a PC tower..? brand of the machine especially if it is a laptop
4 Which Windows? it seems from the screen that it is windows 10

did you reinstall properly..?
if so only install the main mod that will be enough to start..
if you have read the recommendations you should progress..

Kal Maximus, I´m not sure what you try to tell me - however, I tried my best to solve the issue. I have attached my specifications and no, it´s not a notebook.
I am definitely not an expert in IT, I am probably an expert in other forums.
Still I appreciate your skills for this game since I was one of the first ones who bought it at the release day 18 years ago. As said - all the 18 years I never experienced something like a cut off picture and I accept that there might be no current solution than doing a clean, new installation.

You have a machine more than enough with this kind of config nothing should stop you ...
on the other hand, I would have taken an Intel because AMD is not very good. Despite what some say...
What I suggest is already to start a clean installation..
is don't forget to "program files" ..

2_at the root of your chosen game she.exe right click properties

this is what i see in your nomenclature 2540 x 1440 59 hz your problem is here..

Well I'm sorry to have sent you for a walk at the beginning... You should have specified that you are a computer "noob" it's amazing with this kind of config... but here a lot of people always ask the same questions and don't don't read.. or sign up then ask for help... then we see them no more it's not a self-service... today people like to be put in their mouths... without breaking the bank head...i think you see where i'm coming from..
go to more .. good settings .. do not activate any other mod .. we will see the rest after ..

I made a clean installation from CD, re-installed LSH2020 and had the same issue again.


Then I bought the game again on steam, installed LS2020 once again -et voilà, il marche!

I'm glad your problem is solved..
now be careful when choosing your HuD...in JSGME
your problem is still strange... maybe a protection problem on your old version...
I will send you a version that has no protection, this is my game..
if you want to try...
I don't recommend the steam version but if it works for you that's fine.. ...although some people play it here, my friend Mad Mardigan should be able to document you on the issue because he has a version he uses. .. among other things to help here ..
