in the \data\submarine\sub-type.cfg, what do these two Storm Condition parameters control?
StormConditions=15,1;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1] max wind speed does NOT limit the weather and so what does it limit? the label main rain density is innocuous, but very Ubi. are the allowable values only zero and one or are the allowable values between 0.0 and 1.0? and lastly...WTH does it control? ![]()

Not the best of memory anymore, but seems to me that the "Storm Conditions are for manning the deck gun. Set to 12ms, no more deck gun crew at the station when the wind gets up like that... I do not remember the rain... maybe for rain gear?...

Wasn't zero (0) & one (1), used as like... trip switches... zero being off, I think it was & 1 was like... on.
IIRC, that is... ![]() Cause if so... then crew wearing rain gear or not, would then make sense... as that last part being the trigger point for them, doing so. ![]() M. M.

It is as PB said; that determines when the crew wears weather gear and mans the deck gun. Above the number they do, below it they do not for the gear and vice versa for the gun.
You can set it to whatever you want; it does not affect the weather itself in anyway.
