Do you mean how to distinguish the real contact and mirror contact?
Intelligence, experience, judgement. If situation allows make a >45 degree turn. Wait for about 5 min. Mirror contact will jump to a new bearing. |

Say for example you have same contact at 000 and 100 (can't rem the exact amount of bearing between the two), but anyway, if you say turn right 45, steady up, watch the map screen.
One contact will remain in place, the other contact with swing around the map the same direction you turn. Try it with TA and it's easy to watch it. |
