Hi all. I have a quick question and hopefully I can explain my problem. Playing Stock silent Hunter 3 with No Map Contact Update, how would you plot a ships relative bearing? The tool tip has compass bearing but not my uboats. Ideally all I'm trying to get is a ships heading so I can plot a intercept course, and with GWX for instance it shows relative bearing.

Own course + relative bearing = true bearing to target (versus true north, or as some falsely call it 'magnetic')
But if you have cloud gaming and can't use mods, how did you get GWX 3 on it? As for the target course, it is something you will have to visualize on the map and guestimate. Or if you can somehow gauge the angle on the bow: intercept angle relative to line of sight = inverse sine ( sine (AOB) * Target speed / your speed )
