Default Personal game charts 1st/2nd quarter 2006

Let’s have a look at people's personal game charts of the first half of this year. What have you been playing most with in the last six months? Oldies and new things alike.

Me:

Various chess programs
Steel Beasts Pro PE (what a surprise! )
Steel Panthers MBT for Windows (still oldie but goldie)
Deer Hunter 2005 (relaxation course at smile price)
Oblivion (latest entry)
The Operational Art of War 3 (latest entry, still learning it with growing enthusiasm).

Oh my God. Inserted this from Words at default settings, and the colours seem to be messed up again.

Sorry for the red, it is one of the few colours that can be seen both with a dark and a light background.

Try pasting to notepad first, then to the forum. That should remove all formatting.

My recently played games:
- Dangerous Waters
- C&C (Tiberian Dawn) en Red Alert (with expansions)
- Doom 3
- Combat Flight Simulator 3 (flight models seem as bad, perhaps worse, as in their civilian flight sims of the period - stall and spins are very hard to get)
- Caesar 3 (stupid paths for maintenance guys, but OK)
- F4AF
- Age of Emipres 2 expansion
- acquired yesterday: Dawn of War and expansion, SiN ep. 1 plus first SiN (Steam still crappy).

Edit (forgot this one, even though it's a very nice TBS):
- Galactic Civilizations 2

Plus some demo's.

SS II runs from a batch file I got from some german web site. It works on XP with no tweaking. I have no PC speaker so I cannot get sound. But, sound was pretty lame anyway with SS II.

ACOD will run with 512 mb of Ram but not on 1024 mb when used in conjuction with
VDMSOUND and XP.

Task Force 1942 works because I have my disks partitioned to FAT 32. So I can use a dos startup disk that comes with the program to run it.

I don not use DOS BOX. Mostly VDMSOUND. If I run into a problem then I try and boot from customized start up disk. But usually most games will work thru VDMSOUND and XP if configured right thru startup properties for that specific program.
