1. The HSIE patches don't all seem to be working. After installation the HSIE Options Selector reported only a few of the possible patches were activated. I have tried activating more of them and some are working and some are not. The Oxygen Fix does not work as advertised. Also the Periscope Fix isn't working. I can cruise along at 8 knots in a Type VIIB and the image is completely clear and the periscope stays up. Any ideas what's happening?

2. Is there any way to remove that annoying orange marker on the surface when the boat is submerged? It seems to have been added to SH3 from FOTRSU and was one of the reasons (along with the colored contacts) for my abandoning FOTRSU. (And thanks for including a MOD to make the contacts all black).

For No1
Go to the mods folder of your LSH3 2020 installation and find the LSH3 2020 HSie patch mod
Open it and run the selector within the mod and activate whatever you want
Close everything and activate the LSH3 2020 HSie patch mod with JSGME
All done

For No2
I don't know , I want the same as well .

For N°2, deleting the UMark tga in Data/Misc should do it.
But best is to play just with event camera on...this way no orange UMark and no need for black contacts, a lot more immersive

I found traffic in the Indian Ocean so everything is in order.
The empty port remains a mystery

There is traffic in the Indic but no harbor traffic, except in Colombo. No mystery, no content.

Installed ARB WideGui 1920x1080 v0.3.1 and its just great, it makes the game feel playable again after all these years. Problem is I have a map thats split in two and just a mess I can make no sense of it, when I look for information it seems Im not alone but I am unclear how to fix it.
This is a steam version of the game and from what I have read its been said [S3H]_SH3-H.sie_V16B1-Patch-Kit should be installed first but when I downloaded that file there was a ton of other files and no install instructions. Can anyone advise? am I doing the right thing how should I procced?

Hello,
I downloaded the Mod LSH3 2020, but somehow I cannot install it. Clicking the installation file the smart screen pops up, I clicked "run anyway" but then the error message "could not create folder ".". Access denied" appears.
I have clean installed SH3 from uplay on this location "C:\SH3"
also tried "C:\SilentHunter3" no luck with both of them. I also deactivated every Windows Security, run as administrator, gave the exe all the rights possible... still no luck.

I am running Windows 10.
Any help on this would be awesome. Thank you very much.

Hello L/SH3 friends

We are sorry that some players cannot install Supermod "LSH3-Edition-2020".

Those who have an official UBI license for SH3 can install Supermod "LSH3-Edition-2020" for free.

This applies to ALL SH3 purchasers (from SH3-DVD, SH3-UPLAY, SH3-STEAM or SH3-AMAZON)!

Here are the EXACT installation instructions for a "quick" LSH3 installation:

1. first create a NEW folder yourself, with name "SilentHunter3" (no matter where).

2. start the loaded LSH3-2020-file "LSH3-2020-INSTALLATION.EXE" (as Administrator)

3. select (in the installation programme) your new folder "SilentHunter3" as "SH3 ORIGINAL FOLDER"!

After that, the LSH3 installation will run optimally.

5. pay attention to all further questions in the LSH3 installation program for a successful installation.

Information for L/SH3 players and valued old and new SH3 modders:

We strongly recommend to play the supermod "LSH3 Edition 2020" in "original state" first!

First test out what is already built in and activated in LSH3 (example: HSIE and TYCHO patch).

Or also which LSH3 add-on mods (via LSH3-2020-MODARCHIVE) can be switched on.

Information for all "old" esteemed SH3 modders:

Our supermod "LSH3 Edition 2020" is NOT compatible with GWX 3, WAC XX or the last version CCOM 12.x!

Until today there is no V20 Full-HD-GUI, nor any other V20 add-on mod, which work properly (!).

We appreciate all modder work done for "LSH3 Edition 2020/21".

Please write us here (or to urmel@lsh3.com) if we can verify new work for "LSH3 Edition 2021".

At the moment the LSH3 team is working hard on the new LSH3 version Full-HD-2021.

Would be nice to be able to get rid of Fumb-1 Metox once installed...
It seems that once we have bought the Biscaye Cross, we can’t de-install it later on like they did when it was become useless...
It should be doable at base in the equipment page...

On side note, it seems it’s like that in any other megamod!

Yes always first in training flotilla when new sub (as it was in real - and in real, could take many month of training!)
