Default Where to get the GW 1.1a Super Mod

Sorry everyone,

but I tried to get the Mod by the main page of Grey Wolves, but this brings me to a page asking me to give a donation. And in this there are only stuff about a super mod on SHII.

Am I dooing something wrong? What am I supposed to do.
(and I would like to have the one that works with JMSGE)

Thank you

Thank you very much for your answer.
D/L it earlier.
I put all of it in a folder that I called GW 1.1a.

Now should I run JMGSE first (to create a folder in my SHIII root call MOD) and then after put that GW 1.1a folder that I created with all the Bins files in the SHIII root folder as well.

Following this start the GW 1.1aEXE file so that it will Mod my game and will appear in the MOD folder?

Is that the way/sequence I should do it? (and yes this is a fresh install with the patch 1.4b)

Thank you in advance

Mau

The Grey Wolves web page has links to both a main and a mirror d/l site. If the main is down, simply try the mirror.

I do not recommend installing via JSGME as it will take up an *extra* 4gb of your hard drive in backup files and so on. I would recommend installing straight to a CLEAN UNMODDED copy of SH3, patched to v1.4b.

However, if you really want to install via JSGME, simply follow the installation instructions, available via the "ONLINE README" link at the Grey Wolves web page.

Ok got it thanks!!

Now if I want to install SH Commander 2.5, should I do that after installing that MOD (or it doesn't really matter?)

Doesn't matter. But for safety, install it after.

A BIN-question

I have dl the GW from ftp://gibbage.mine.nu/Silent%20Hunte...Grey%20Wolves/

I did click on the "The Grey Wolves Setup" as told in the readme, but there's 4 BIN-files what about them?

I know I shall use Daemon tools to open them

From the Grey Wolves webpage and the readme files...

Quote:
The Grey Wolves download comes in five parts. Download and save each part into the same folder on your hard drive. Once all parts are downloaded, run TGW11a.exe to commence the installation. Please consult the online readme for more information.
You don't need any compression/decompression tools; you don't need to care about the bin files or anything. Just d/l all files and run the exe file as instructed. It takes care of everything.

It couldn't be any simpler!
