Hi all just a few words from a old (in years gammer).......

I have been playing SH3 ever since its release in fact i have played the whole series........even still have a original game of "Aces of the deep" i think it was called packed away some were............

I have tried most of the mods RUB.....Etc etc and they are all very good and i take my hat of to you all for the effort you have put in............

For me i like relisim but not to full on i still get the TDC officer to plot my target extra at times and i enjoy the free camera view not to cheat as such just the eye candy............but every thing else is set for realisim damge,torp reloads blah blah..

The mian reason or reasons i love GW better is strickly personal to my style of game play...

With GW you can nock up the realisim to a very high standard............which i like but still with a few helping aids..........

The most things i love is for me the graphics they are awesome and breath new life into a already great game.....the detail to the dials etc men and the U-Boats them selves are great i spend alot of time just looking at my Sub and it workings..

One of the biggest pleasures is the new sound waves..diving ,blowing ballast,Hitting a target etc the list is to long to repeat but on my sound card with 7.1 surround im really there in storms i find myself reaching for my rian coat..........

Often i just crash dive for the hell of it the sense of urgency to get the hell out of harms way is brought home.......its so realistic.....i know i need to get out more but this game and mod is stealing my life..............

The game play it self is better to crew mangement etc real U boat aviablity and now resupply at sea..............

The sinking times of ships at first i hated now it seams more real as a commander you think "i have put 2 fhish into this bastard he,s listing badley so do i wait for awhile for him to sink or do i put another valuble torp into him......can i afford to wiat what if he is calling in my position etc.......it makes for some tuff calls at times
and a hollow victory if you dont see the kill...............sink.

over all i think GW has many great things to offer the noob and the salt head....
But to me it offers to of the best in my opinion eye candy with great game play.................and awesome sound to really get you into the game......

I have just installed GW and im realy inpressed...but there is one thing when i fire i hear the torp going the air compressed but i dont hear the creman saying loos or fire?......but as i said iv only last night downloaded it...All So ..Please Dont Flame Me BUT I HAVE MY ORIGINAL COPY of Silent hunter3...i dont belive in pirates but being a gamer my cd and dvd are full of games so will the no cd crack with GW please remeber i have a authentic copy of SH3....Thanks.

No worries mate... many that come here don't realize that it is against the rules to discuss cracks and such.

There will be no cracks released as part of GW.

I'm not surprised at all, Mr. Werner: We passed the 10.000 download mark of GW.1.0, not counting the Bittorrent distribution channel. We also have had 6.500 hits in our web page in 10 days.

And BTW, we too busy modding to do anything else (like creating accounts and praising ourselves). A lot of the newcomers that GW (and NYGM) brought back to the game with v.1.0 are alive and kicking. Hell, some of them started modding already

Yes, this mod brought me back from a Silent Hunter-slumber, and I truly love it. I actually didn`t know anything about Grey Wolves until I saw a screenshot in some forum somewhere. I thought: "What the hell? My Silent Hunter 3 doesn`t look that sweet!?"
