Grey Wolves Question

I just installed the Grey Wolves Super Mod. Everything looks awesome, except I have the "spray bug" again when I am looking towards the bow through the UZO.

Is there an easy fix for this?

I don't have this bug, but it's related with the Nvidia cards, no?:hmm:

Do you mean the problem where the spray disapears?

No,
I think he is talking about the good old Nivida Card where your visual gets all bogged down and it's impossible to use your UZO in combat situations.

I thought BDU had taken care of this!!

Yes, I believe it is Nvidia related. It is the bug where "spray" envelops your view through the UZO anytime I am looking forward (approx. 30 degrees either side of relative north).

Before I loaded the Grey Wolves Super Mod, this had been patched, although I don't remember which patch fixed the problem. I uninstalled SHIII and reinstalled and then upgraded to the latest patch, the installed the Super Mod.

Now I have the dreaded spray, making surface approaches a pretty difficult, since I am driving blind!

I think I will uninstall, then reinstall SHIII and patch it.

Then load it and see if the spray is there, before installing the Super Mod. Anyone know of a better way?

Thanks for your input!

Gray, I posted this and I think it might relate to you.
If you take this route you never need to reinstall again.

You need the originals do do that. There is no reason to reinstall.
This is the preferred method:
Install SH3, patch it to 1.4b.
Now create a folder outside the program files and copy the entire data folder of 1.4b.
Now you have one in the game and another stored to use in the future.
Now install Greywolves.
Make a complete copy of Greywolve's data folder in another outside folder.
You now have Greywolves installed, a back up version of Greywolves and a backup version of 1.4b stock.
If you wanted to try NYGM2.0 you could delete the entire GW data folder in SH3, then copy and paste the 1.4b data folder in SH3.
Now you can install NYGM2.0.
Now make a copy of the NYGM2.0 data folder and you have all three ready to be put in as you choose.
Since all the differences are in the data folder by having complete copies of each you not only have the ability to change your game at will, you can add things like the colored lines and if you mess up, you just delete the data folder and put another in.
No more reinstall and always a complete backup.

Thanks ZZ! That's the fix I had forgotten about! Works like a charm.

I appreciate the reminder.

Great idea Wulf, anything to spend less time installing and more time on patrol is a good thing!

I like to experiment with the different Mod options, and this will make it much easier.

Thanks again!
