Enemy difficulty

I really want to like this game, but it is too easy to get away when spotted. I tried to get them to sink me and all they do is bomb next to me and run into each other

I want the uncertainty of sh3 in a mod, they are brutal in that one

any suggestions?

Are you playing TWOs or vanilla SH5?
