Has anyone successfully installed the open/close torpedo outer door switches into a GUI? It would be nice to have a menu item similar to the panel in the weapons officer 3D view. I see a few posts that it was being worked on, but haven't found a completed mod.
I've been playing around with the ARB GUI (mainly trying to get the single/salvo dials to work in the other menus like they do in the TDC menu) and learning a lot about the configuration files, but I don't want to waste a lot of time trying to create a switch if it can't be done. I see commands to open/close doors on the selected tubes, but not one that allows you to independently open or close a specific tube. Last edited by klh; 06-10-20 at 09:47 PM. |

Hello;
an old post about it. https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=241382 Markman performed this procedure but had not completed his mod. Maybe now he will be able to transmit it to us or at least give us the elements to realize it ourselves? Best regards Yves |

What i usually do is to adjust all my torp depth and speed in regard of target (s) and then exit the periscope view to open all needed tubes with the conning tower buttons (the ones just in front seat, or the ones on the wall box)
When opened, they are kept open ![]() Then i can fire all my torp one after each other without wondering to open tubes... ![]()
