Hey Guys,
I just bought Dangerous Waters because of the steam sale, looked up some nice tutorials and im on my first Mission yet. I did the TMA stuff and so on and im now Ready to fire, however I select Sierra 2 at the fire Station and click on my Torpedo tube but it doesnt work if I do snapshots or visual contacts it works but not the Sierra ones, what am i doing wrong? Have you tried to classify the target as hostile?
![]() Once the target turns red, you should be good to go. Its also a good idea to check the torp settings prior to launch. ![]() |

Glad to hear you've gotten the game up and running and are doing stuff! It takes some time and effort to get to that point.
I actually don't know that a track has to be hostile to shoot a torpedo at it. However, I know for certain that it can't be a contact of "unknown" type, it has to be a "surface" or "subsurface" contact. You can do this by right-clicking the contact on the Nav Map (F5 screen) and you'll be able to designate side or alliance (forget what they call it precisely), type, and classify the contact.
