SH4 TMO Freelook broken?

Just installed TMO today, was having fun until I could not use free look anymore?
I went back to the main menu and saw that 'no external camera' was checked and unchecked it, loaded my game back up and I still couldn't use it.So I went back to the main menu, saw it was checked again? I proceeded to do this like 10 more times, restarting my game countless times, even got it to work again for 10 minutes but then it stopped working again. I'm not sure why 'no external camera' keeps turning itself back on. What's up with this?

Working as designed I expect. At any difficulty greater than Easy, TMO disables the external view as per the TMO 2.5 manual on Page 8.

When it stops working, are you in career mode?

If you're in career mode, you have to set your options in the office, click on the clock on the left.
